The King of the Cannabis Plants, there may be no other Cannabis variety that is as well-known and popular as OG-Kush. Initially, this plant was cultivated in the northern part of California with its perfect climate for musty and large Marijuana plants, then in the late 70’s it was taken down from the mountains and regrown near the ocean because its popularity rose so much in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The crops needed to get close to the ocean, hence the name “OG – Ocean Grown”. However, OG Kush has managed to maintain its very characteristic ‘must-have’ taste reminiscent of spruce and forest. Many people say that OG Kush is like a really finely aged whiskey. It has a harsher taste to begin with, once that has passed you are left with the beautiful aromas and flavours of the plant.
